Screw Classifier

Screw Classifier is an ideal machine for washing and separating silt and other contaminants, as well as dewatering sand after washing. It combines the duties of washing and dewatering and is quite effective.

The Spiral Classifier has the highest raking capacity of any classifier available.

The intake flow is dispersed equally across the surface area of the spirals. It is always best to feed the input slurry at one-third of the overall length of the spiral. When the material enters the classifier, it is separated according to particle size. Coarse particles settle, but small particles float to the surface of the water.

It can be mounted directly beneath the vibrating screen discharge chute, or a separate structure for sand input from the screen, such as a hopper and feeder configuration, can be created. This is the most cost-effective machine for sand washing. It is simple to use and maintain.There is no need for a separate dewatering screen with this because it completely dewaters the material.
